La Fogata in Anderson

Maaaaaan oh man. I luuuuuuuuub their grub. And yes I meant to say luuuuuuuuuub. I had the Tres Amigos and my husband had the shrimp burrito. Yummy. The shrimp was ON POINT. Wasn't over cooked. I have been coming here since 2010 and I always enjoy eating here. My only issue was.......i didn't get enough guacamole and Pico de galo. And they KNOW I luuuuuuuuuuub their guacamole!!!!!!

Love this place. Everyone is so friendly. Always come here for the best Mexican food. Tried others but always end up back here because nothing else really compares. Been eating here for years.

They chip don't have any seasoning on them and the salsa could have been spicier but I support the effort.

When we go there to eat my husband always orders the special for the day and I usually order lunch no.5. Sometimes I switch just for a little difference. Maybe a taco salad or something else. They have good food. Everyone is nice and they take good care of their customers. There is a lot of different types of food to choose from the menu. Tacos, burritos, taco salad, steak or chicken fajitas, chicken or steak quesadillas, three amigos, California burrito, beef, chicken, or steak nachos, enchiladas, and chicken wings. They have soda and tea and other selection of drinks. They also have chips and salsa and or dips. They also have desserts to choose from. They have children's menu and high chairs. They have public restrooms. They have Tv so you can watch sports. They have handicapped parking and wheel chair accessibility.

Local here, the food is so good everytime and authentic! Theres never a problem, if there is they go above and beyond to make you happy. Very friendly staff and quick.

The food is always delicious and fresh, the service cant be beat. The staff are pleasant and kind. Anyone who hasn't gone absolutely should. Try the Chilaquiles, or the nacho fajitas, amazing

We've only been in Anderson for a year and have tried nearly all the Mexican restaurants in the area and this is a regular stop for us now. This is one of the best kept secrets in Anderson, tucked away just off the 28 bypass. Affordable family owned restaurant with friendly staff, great food, & daily specials.

Always empty.. because the service is horrific. Go to El Arriero for better food and friendly service. I see this place closing down by the end of next year. You can be the only person in the restaurant and they still act like no one is there. On their phone or talking.

Very friendly waitresses. Everyone works as a team and makes sure you have everything g you need the whole time you're there.

Clean restaurant.good Chicken Fajatias. But the beans are to soupy & salad ok But not the best to me..chips ok but grease taste. Salsas we tried are good.

So again I take my boys here. I think I've tried everything on the menu.. By far the best Mexican restaurant.. and trust me my boys and I have gone to nearly all in Anderson... The flavors and the amounts... Its just the best in Anderson!!!!. I drive across town and pass 3 just to get to this one. 😍😍😍

I normally get take out here and it's great. Yesterday I decided to eat in with my family. I ordered my usual except I didn't want rice. I asked could I get extra vegetables instead being that I'm in this new way of eating. He (the waiter) agreed. My son had beef and cheese nachos. My plate came like I ordered little to no vegetables and my son barely had nachos on his plate. The portions for the price does not add up. They are very friendly and attentive but do not show love towards their plates. I do not think we will be back to dine in...
